Our changy prezbo/maoObama is proposing a Universal single payer bill. It's presently being rapidly processed in congress. The bill calls for the government to serve healthcare.
Attempts of business by this administration has not gone well so far, and healthcare is a big issue. America's healthcare system until now has been mostly private. However, there have been some forum of government owned health insurance such as medicare, medicade, and other things. These in itself proves to be ineficient and more then not caused doctors lots of stress. However, we have never had a full out government system.
Here are a few points I can think of.
All countries except U.S.: Good
1. more folks recieve medical care, but have to wait in long lines. 2. health care is free of charge. 3. In a way, It's fairer. 4. The treatment often lacks in quality because this is the government you are talking about and they like to spend as little as possible. U.S.: good 1. Ill individuals doesn't have to wait in line, but not everyone receive health care 2. Because of national health care people rush to the states for operations and medical attention. 3. The government doesn't dictate your life and health care. 4. The citizens don't pay for national healthcare in taxes as of yet. 5. In countries with universal health care The treatment often lacks in quality because this is the government and they like to spend as little as possible. 6. You may see any doctor that you like and get as good of a service that you desire as long as you can afford it. Which do you prefer?
