In order to create a successful forum one must create a good skin. Otherwise, the members will not stay. Here are some questions to consider and I’ll ask more as you post and discuss the topic.

What’s an attractive skin, and how would you make it attractive? Would you put a lot of personal feelings and likes on it?

At which point is the forum become too cluttered as in images. What is too much and too distracting?


What is too dark and what’s too bright, color wise? Why do you not want either.

What font size should be used?


Describe what an attractive skin would involve. Also, tell us a little about what kinds of content should be placed on the board’s skin and what kinds of things should not even bee there?



What makes an ideal banner? What would be unexceptable? Is there any elements to be aware of when making a banner except the size of the board and color skeems matching the board?

Any other commentary, is welcomed!

1.Like something that matches the name of the site.For example this site and it's called Chat heaven.I would put some clouds and maybe some people talking to each other.

2.I would put alot of personal feelings and likes on it.

3.Likes it's all over the place.Five pictures is fine,but more then 5 is too much.

4.I don't think it's too distracting t's not too much.

5.Dark is fine with mine.Yellow is too bright.

6.I don't really care what font size.

7.Not really good with boards skin.I think the skin is fine as it is.

8.The banner is fine and I don't have a reallly good answer for the other quetions.
